The Holiday Island Of Majorca Best Beach Guide

Among the many beaches of Mallorca, Spain, one might be truly challenged to find the best. All of the beaches in Mallorca have their own unique charm and attractive features, so you really can not go wrong.  If you are on the island of Mallorca, Spain, then you are going to be enjoying some of the best beaches the world has ever seen.  What is "best" to one person might not be to the next.  That said, here is a look at three of the best beaches in Mallorca, that some may not have heard of.  Finding those special out of the way beaches are always a treat after all and can often earn you brownie points with the other half on a romantic getaway.

Mallorca's Best Beach Guide Profile - Cala Varques

If you like your beaches rather primitive, then ‘Cala Varques’ is sure to be among your favourites in Mallorca. Cala Varques is not one of the beaches that the masses are likely to know about, and is certainly without commercialism.  There are no amenities, no services, and no bathroom here, so come prepared for this.  You have to walk to get there or come in by the water, but the beauty of Cala Varques is worth it.  The water is so clear here that you might even think you are in a swimming pool.  What truly makes this part of Mallorca special is that it is untouched.  Shells are incredible in Cala Varques, and they often have never felt the touch of any other human.  If you like beach simplicity, then this is the beach for you.

Mallorca's Best Beach Guide Profile - Sa Coma

If you prefer your beaches just a bit more user friendly when it comes to food, drink and bathrooms etc. then Sa Coma beach is more your taste.  This gorgeous beach is popular for a reason - they have top quality everything.  Fortunately, Sa Coma is also well equipped to wow your senses with a stunning white sandy beach and water that is often a deep blue.  The best thing about Sa Coma in our view is the fact that the wind is often non-existent.  This comes in handy because the sand is so fine.  Sa Coma is considered one of the more popular beaches, but you can always find a spot.  Rarely do you feel crowded here, though it does happen, so arriving early or visiting outside of the busier seasons I recommended.

Mallorca's Best Beach Guide Profile - Port d’Alcudia

If you like your beaches large and would prefer to be alone when you choose, then Port d'Alcudia is your beach.  This beach is so large that even with its extreme popularity you can usually find a spot to hide away from the crowds.  This leaves you free to still enjoy the amenities and various water sports that Port d'Alcudia is famous for.  Water sports including fishing, boating and even parasailing can be enjoyed here, as well as some general fun on the sand.  Some great volleyball games often will start up here as well.  The scenery is grand and vast, so you will always have someplace to explore that you have not seen before.
